After absentee and affidavit ballots were counted Tuesday, it appears Baldwyn Ward 1 will have a new Alderman in the city’s Board.
Angeleque Agnew-Beene polled 156 votes to incumbent Lee Bowdry’s 155.
Other final tallies included Tonya Goodin Billips 120 to 77 against Tom Nelson in Ward 2. In Ward 3, Phil Rowan finished with 101 votes to William “Bird” Agnew’s 87. And in Ward 4, incumbent Ricky Massengill pulled 66 votes to Tammie C. Waters’ 36. Beverly Eckford’s vote count from last week did not change from 5.
