Guntown has exciting events in the works this month. There will be a Guntown City Park Visioning Session held on April 13, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Guntown City Park located at 1571 Main Street in Guntown.
Mississippi State’s Fred Carl Jr. Small Town Center staff will be promoting a vision session for the park. Of course, social distancing will be in place at the park for citizens in and around Guntown.
Attendees will have opportunities to provide input on the park’s long-term vison. It is important for citizens to attend and participate. There will be food trucks available for food and drinks to be purchased. In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Guntown Community Center.
The Tupelo Lions Club will also be present at the park. They will be performing vision screenings the same day and time as the Visioning Session. You are invited to participate in this health event.
