FMBank adding new Alcorn County branch at Farmington

The new location will be the Baldwyn-based bank’s third branch in the county, and 10th branch overall.

Baldwyn-based Farmers & Merchants Bank is expanding its operations in Alcorn County.

Paul Haynes, Chairman of Farmers and Merchants Bank of Baldwyn, Mississippi, and the Board of Directors, announce the granting of approval by the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance for the opening of a banking facility in Farmington at the intersection of Farmington Road and County Road 166.

“Our staff is excited to have the opportunity to serve the people of Farmington,” Paul Haynes said. “We promise that we will know you by name and each person will be treated with the utmost respect as part of our FMBank family.”

“We are a locally managed bank; dedicated to serving the communities where we live and our children go to school,” FMBank President & CEO, John Haynes said.  “We take a very personal interest in the success of our customers and friends, and we take pride in banking with generations of families and watching children grow up and bank with us.”

FMBank is one of Mississippi’s top rated banks receiving a 5 Star Rating by Bauer Financial for over 28 years with now 10 branches and $335 million in assets.

The new Farmington Office will offer full service banking with extended Drive Thru hours including Saturday Drive Thru Banking.  Other services will include a drive-up night deposit and a drive up ATM.  Our staff is working diligently on site and building preparations for a ground breaking in the weeks ahead followed by a grand opening in early 2019.
