Boys & Girls Club plans dance fundraiser

The Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Mississippi will be hosting the second annual “So You Think You Can Dance Like the Stars.”

The event will take place at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville at 6 p.m. on April the 7. Advance tickets will be sold for $35 and tickets at the door will be $40. The price will include the show, a meal, entertainment and more. If you would like to purchase a ticket for this event you can contact your local Boys and Girls Club or any member of the Boys and Girls Club board.

Also, event coordinators are seeking a few more dancers with no certain experience level needed. Volante Jones from Contemporary Arts Center will provide dance lessons for those participating in the event.

Proceeds from the event will assist to raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs in Corinth, Iuka, Booneville, and Baldwyn. The Boys and Girls club will use the funds to help provide many opportunities for, educational, professional and personal skill growth. The Boys and Girls Club of America is a safe, secure, and positive place to grow and have fun.
