Janet Hendrix

Janet Lynn Hendrix 59, died November 5, 2017. Funeral services were held at Waters Funeral Home November 08, 2017 with Bro. David Krech officiating. Burial was in the Blackland Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Marty Hendrix of Baldwyn; (1) daughter, Melissa Lee (Jimmy Voyles) of Dry Creek; step-daughter, Kayla Hendrix of Booneville; (2) sons, Shane Eaton (Krisi) of Booneville and Jonathan Holley of New Site; (2) sisters, Gladys Flurry (Danny) of Booneville and Charmaine Garner of Michigan; (1) brother, Larry McCoy (Kathie) of Booneville; (10) grandchildren; (7) Greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George H. and Margie Mullinix McCoy and a brother, Tony McCoy..

Jo Maxcy

Jo Maxcy, 86, died November 03, 2017. Funeral services were held at Waters Funeral Home November 06, 2017 with Bro. Stanley Huddleston officiating. Burial was in the Kirkville Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Maxcy; (3) granddaughters, Amy Martin (Kevin), Angie Palmer (John), and Jessami Rodgers all of Baldwyn; (7) Great-grandchildren, Austin Martin (Mallory), Katlyn Chism, Maggie Martin, Jon Tyler Palmer, Madelyn Palmer, Cameron Rodgers and Colton Rodgers; daughter-in-law, Lana Maxcy Winters (Charles); long time caregiver, Tammy Holman; most recent care-giver, Leva Pedigo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lavella Malone; (3) sisters, Betty Lou Pounds, Callie Spencer and Beatrice Holland; and her two sons, Jimmy Wade Maxcy and Jerry Lee Maxcy.

James Sallis

James “Jim” Alan Sallis 61, died November 03, 2017. Services were held at Waters Funeral Home November 06, 2017 with Bro. Stanley Huddleston, Bro. Bob Cossey and Bro. Pete McCoy officiating. Burial was in Prentiss Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Sallis; daughters, Jamie Calley (Jason), Brittany Gray (Logan) and Wendi Allen (Bryant); (2) sons, Brett Tice (Amy) and Neal Tice (Sabrina); grandchildren, Drew, Kelsie and Gracie Yates, Lily Kate and Amelia Alice Gray, Bella Hall, Ethan and Gabe Tice; sister-in-law, Monte Smith; father-in-law, J.P. Davis; uncles, Joseph Sallis; aunt, Rae Isom; special nephew and niece, Mark Allen and Allison Smith; Great nieces, Millie Marie and Hallie Beth Smith; host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laurel Scheve Huddleston, father, Arnold Clovis Sallis; step-father, Ishmael Huddleston; brother, Joseph Sallis; sister, Pamela Holder; Mother-in-law, Zelia Parker Davis and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Smith.

Rebecca Ward

Rebecca Ann (Becky) Ward, 74, of Baldwyn died November 3rd, 2017. Services were held November 7, 2017 at Waters Funeral Home with Son-In-Law and Pastor William Copeland and Co-Pastor Bro Jimmy Newby officiating. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery.

Survivors are four children, Randy (Grizz) & Sheila (Nichols) Potts of Baldwyn, Donny (Dog) Potts of Baldwyn, Kenny & Nickola (Wright) Ward of Tupelo and Melody (Ward) & William Copeland of Dry Creek; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; Two Sisters: Lazelle Davidson of Guntown and Rita & Terry Taylor; Three Brothers: Bobby & Shirley (Broughton) Potts of Shreveport LA Jerry Potts and Glenn Potts; A Step Mother, Helen Potts; A Host of cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends; Special friends, Deli Stone, Belle Tapp, and Dianne Shackleford.

Preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Gilbert (Nib) Turner, the love of her life Joseph B. Agnew, her mother in law Laura Agnew, and grand-daughter Tina Lynn Potts Whitley.
